Welcoming a new baby is an emotional adventure. At Milk Bar, we understand that this period is unique for every parent. Personal service and expert advice are therefore central to our approach.

You may need less than you initially thought... Perhaps there are also items that could come in handy that you hadn't considered yet. We are happy to assist you so that you can look forward to the arrival of your little one with confidence!

Create a birth list

You can create it independently online via our birth list website or with the help of our staff; We are always ready to assist you and provide personal advice. Do not hesitate to contact us via email (info@milk-bar.be) or 0475/300612 or make an appointment in our calendar!

Our birth lists are all consultable and adjustable online;

No purchase obligation

At Milk Bar, there is no purchase obligation. Only the products that you want to reserve (in advance) (see also below under "favorites") or personalize need to be purchased.

Favorite products & pick up in advance

Products that you need immediately after giving birth or products that you are really sure you want to have can best be marked as favorites. We will set them aside for you, ensuring that they are not gone when gift time arrives.

Note: there is a purchase obligation on these products.

Additionally, we understand that you may want to have certain items at home before the new baby arrives. Think of a crib, a bath, a stroller, baby bottles, etc. That’s why you can pick up items in advance with us one time. The total amount will be advanced by the parents. We will add a piggy bank to the birth list so that friends and family can contribute to the items taken in advance. When you close your list, the piggy bank will be refunded to your account.

Immediately available

Your list can be accessed immediately after creation. This can be useful if friends or family want to buy a gift before the birth. Future grandparents usually like to buy something in advance. You can also choose to protect your list with a password, so that only those who know the password can view your list.

Free delivery

We collect the gifts so that we can deliver/send them grouped together. It is of course also possible to pick up the gifts in our store. For this, it is best to send us an email first so that we can prepare everything and everything can go smoothly.

It is also possible for the buyer to come and pick up the gift they purchased in the store.

Of course, friends and family can also come to the store to buy a gift from the list. Some people prefer to see their gift with their own eyes.

Exchange

Did you receive a gift that does not meet your expectations? That's not a problem. If it is unused and in the original packaging, you may return it free of charge. The same rules apply as for returning other purchases from the webshop. You can read these on the website.

Store credit

When you finalize your birth list, you will receive a store credit worth 10% of the total amount of the sold items. This is provided that at least 10 items from the list were purchased for a minimum total amount of 500 euros. Discount packages, discounted products, and gift cards are not included in the store credit.

10% discount

Parents with a birth list at Milk Bar receive 10% discount on all their purchases from the creation to the closure of their birth list. If it concerns a birth list where at least 10 items have been purchased for a minimum total amount of 500 euros, this 10% discount continues until the child is 2 years old. This discount does not apply to birth lists, items that are subject to other discounts and promotions, and cannot be combined with the store credit that Milk Bar provides upon closing the list.

We accept "special requests". Please let us know if you are looking for an item that is not yet on our website. In that case, we will do our best to make it happen.

As you may know, Milk Bar is a family business. One of the founders of Milk Bar, Elena, is the mother of 2 sets of twins. So plenty of experience. 😁

Close list

After about 4 months, or for example after a baptism or baby shower, you can close your birth list. It is best to send an email so that we can calculate the store credit.

Gift cards on your birth list? A good idea!

We always recommend adding a number of gift vouchers to your birth list so that your friends and family can always find a gift that fits their budget!
