The BeSafe pregnant is a belt guide for pregnant women that lowers the lap belt of the seat belt to below the pregnant belly and keeps it securely in place.

Without a belt guide, the lap belt presses dangerously hard against the placenta and the baby in the womb during sudden braking or an accident. In 1 out of 6 cases, the unborn baby suffers an injury as a result.

What’s more, this belt guide eliminates the risk of sliding under the seat belt during an accident (this dangerous phenomenon is known as ‘submarining’). The BeSafe Pregnant also makes the shoulder belt much more comfortable automatically.
