What are TOG values?
TOG stands for Thermisch Overall Klasse. It is a guideline to indicate to what extent, among other things, sleeping bags retain body heat. The higher the TOG value, the harder it is for heat to escape through the fabric. And the lower the TOG value, the more heat loss occurs.
Sleeping bags usually have a TOG value ranging from 0.5 TOG to 3.5 TOG. A very light, fresh summer sleeping bag is 0.5 TOG and a very warm winter sleeping bag is 3.5 TOG.
NOTE: TOG values are purely indicative. It is always important to check yourself whether your child is not too warm or too cold.

Washing instructions:
Wash gently and cold in the washing machine, at 30° and with a mild detergent. Hang the sleeping bag to dry, but it's best not to do this in full sun during the summer. Tumble drying is not recommended, but the sleeping bags can be lightly ironed.

Until when can you swaddle your baby?
Most babies like to be swaddled until about 3 to 4 months, but this may vary per child. Once he or she can roll over, usually around 6 or 7 months, you should no longer swaddle your little one. This may impede rolling over because he or she will not be able to use his or her arms which can be unnecessarily dangerous.

How to keep your SwaddleMeyco beautiful for longer
- Do not use too much detergent (this is also better for the environment)
- Machine washable at 40 degrees maximum

How to swaddle your baby with the SwaddleMeyco
- Put your baby with the shoulders at the same height as the top of the swaddle blanket. Place the legs in the footmuff.
- Fold the left flap connected around your baby's body and arms. Fasten both Velcro parts together.
- Fold the right flap over the left flap and attach the two Velcro® fasteners to the Velcro® part of the left flap.
Be sure to fasten the flaps snugly, but do not fully enclose your baby. It is best to have the arms stretched along the side of the body and always lay your baby on his or her back while swaddling.
This baby sleeping bag has a special "cocoon" feature that allows your baby to fall asleep peacefully, making it an alternative to traditional swaddling. These sleeping bags offer enough freedom of movement for the legs, but are extra narrow on the upper body.
The armholes can be closed with snaps. This allows your baby to find his rest and not be startled by an unexpected movement. It is still possible for your little one to move the arms while sleeping.
