Stapelstein® Winter Special Board The Stapelstein® Board works for active balance exercises and dynamic sitting, for adults and children alike. Combined with the Stapelstein® Original, you can adjust the seat height and raise the difficulty of the stacking game. The raised edge gives extra hold during demanding balance exercises — for children and adults, with and without physical impairment. The Board also works at a desk. As part of the Winter Special 2026 and the Hidden Giants campaign, the Board comes in red with accents of the Color of the Year 2026, rose — like a fly agaric among brown leaves. Material & production Material: mono-material EPP (expanded polypropylene) – a single plastic, foamed with steam. Around 96 % of the volume is air. Free from phthalate plasticisers. Coloured throughout: the colour sits in the raw material and runs through the whole element. It is not a surface coating and cannot chip off. Made at WSVK Innovation GmbH in Oederan near Chemnitz (DE). The site is certified by TÜV SÜD to ISO 14001:2015 (environmental management) and ISO 50001:2018 (energy management). Certificate numbers on request. The site has its own photovoltaic system installed. The raw EPP comes from suppliers in France and the Czech Republic. Stapelstein® EPP elements are made from one single plastic. That makes the material 100 % recyclable — it can go back into production 1:1. Recyclable is not recycled: an element is only recycled once it is back with us. We take worn-out elements back free of charge — an email to hi@stapelstein.de is enough, the return label comes from us. You can pass customer questions about the take-back on to us at any time. Shipped in cardboard — no plastic film, no promotional inserts. Safety & testing Carries the CE marking under EU Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC. Tested to EN 71-3 for the migration of certain elements, for direct skin and mouth contact. No sharp corners or edges. Waterproof and easy to clean.
