Reusable Medela breast pump kits must be disinfected before assembly and before first use. After that, disinfecting once a day is sufficient. Reusable PersonalFit™ PLUS hospital breast pump kits are intended for multiple users and must be prepared for use again between each user. The breast pump parts can be disinfected in an autoclave. Like all reusable breast pump kits, they must also be cleaned after every use.
