Tickit - Fruit & Vegetable Memory

A fun and versatile wooden game, our tickit® Fruit & Vegetable Match is a set of fourteen pairs of smooth, tactile limewood tiles, each with a vibrant colour print on one side featuring real photographs of fruit and vegetables. The thick, square tiles are easy for your child to hold and turn over in their hands.

Fun to use in the following ways:

- A matching game: turn all the tiles face up and find the whole fruit/vegetable and its matching slice.

- A memory game: turn the tiles face down and try to remember where the matching fruit or vegetable pairs are.

- A sorting game - sort the tiles into food groups, by colour, variety (fruit or vegetable), seeds/no seeds, texture, taste (sweet/sour/savoury), or group them by the size of the fruit/vegetable (from smallest to largest).

A great way to talk with your child about the importance of healthy eating, how fruit and vegetables are grown, which climates are best for growing them, which countries they come from, which are their favourites, and what they taste like. Which vegetables/fruit have they yet to try? Learning through play is easy and fun with our matching tiles, while developing descriptive language skills, mathematical language, cooperative play, fine motor skills, imaginative play, and an understanding of the world around them.
